Flipagram – Create & Upload Interactive Image Slideshows On Instagram

Instagram has grown its user base by leaps and bounds in recent times, announcing new features along the way such as the option to upload 15-second videos on the platform. However, there wasn’t any way to create videos out of images and upload them on Instagram, until now.

Filpagram is a new app that allows you to create slideshows based on existing images and it even adds some background music. The images can be selected from the camera gallery or from the uploaded photos on an Instagram account.

How to use Flipagram for iOS and Android

After downloading and launching the app, you’re taken to the main interface where you can tap on the ‘Start’ button to get started, or see the slideshows that are created by others on the web. The next window asks you to select the source of images; Gallery or Instagram. In case of the latter, you need to sign in the account before the app can cache all the images.

After the appropriate option, you’re taken to the list of images currently saved on your device/user profile. You can then select the images for video creation and choose the mark at the top right to proceed. There is no limit on the number of images that can be selected. The selected images are then displayed in the previous screen below Add Moments.

Next, you can adjust the size of the image by tapping on the icon at the bottom left corner of the screen, create copies of any image by tapping on the mid bottom icon or delete any image by tapping on the icon at the bottom right of the screen.

There is also a way to adjust the frame rate; the speed of the video. Images imported from Instagram can be set for the 15-second limit through the auto option. Other options include the ability to add a track to the video, choose the font of the description and write a custom title for the creation.

After selecting appropriate options and entering the necessary details, you can tap on the tick mark icon at the top right to create the video. The created videos will be stored on your device’s SD card, and you’ll also get an option to share the video on social media.

Final thoughts

Flipagram provides a great way to upload image-based slideshows without having to engage in complicated editing tools. The free version of the app only contains one limitation; it has a watermark of the app on the videos, but guess that won’t be that big of a problem. Download the app from the link below and let us know if you give it a try.
