How do I get rid of acne around my face?

Sephora

Question by Blackfire13: How do I get rid of acne around my face? I have small acne all over my face. Not big but little. I can’t stop picking at them. How do I stop this habit so I won’t get marks from that? My other problem is how do I get rid of acne around my face? I tried clean and clear but it just stopped the oil around my face. I tried Proactiv but I am allergic to something in it. Neutrogena I cannot buy because I am afraid I will get the same reaction with Proactiv Please help me?

Best answer:  Just remember by picking at it, it will make the acne worse and leave scaring, and nobody wants that. I went to the doctor because I had acne. It wasn’t bad but it’s not attractive and they gave me Benzaclin.   It works really well, I’ve been using it for like two years now and my face is clear. I put it on after i wash my face at night. Good luck!

Question:  What causes acne face red inflammation? What products should I use to get rid of the acne I have on my face? How can I get rid of acne and dark color scars from my face and could sunburn to the face help clear my face? What is the best home remedy to getting rid of acne scars on face?

Answer:  Go to your family physician or a dermatologist. I have used Proactiv, Neutrogena, Nivea, Clean and Clear, you name it I’ve probably tried it. Anyways, 2 weeks ago I went to my doctor about my skin and was prescribed Clindoxyl Gel and Differin XP. These products have done more for me in 2 weeks than anything else as done in years. If you want something that works, you’ll have to go to a professional, especially since you have allergy concerns. I don’t know where you live but if you have a health care plan or any sort of medical coverage, they are usually pretty cheap. Otherwise, it is expensive. For me, the Clindoxyl Gel is $ 61 and the Differin is $ 82, that is because I recently quit my job and am not covered under my parents health care plan because I am 23. Talk to your doctor, they can help!

It is the secret to curing acne!!! PLEASE TRUST ME!!!!!!!! All my acne has vanished! Hope i helped.

First off, I have the same problem as you. I pick my acne and stuff because it makes it seem like they’re going away. But I realized that if I do that, they go away for a few minutes, but then they get red and sore. There’s nothing you can really do, but keep this in mind and make a conscious effort to stop.

However, I highly recommend Clearasil products. I tried Neutrogena and Proactiv as well with the same problem. I find Neutrogena burned my skin and made it VERY dry and sore. Clearasil has NOT dried out my skin at all, in fact, it feels softer, and has cleared up a lot. Within 3 days you should see a result. Of course, results vary, but this is what happened for me. Yes, I still have some acne, but it is not as sore, and it has gotten rid of most of it.

If this doesn’t work, try mixing tea tree oil by 1 part tea tree oil and 2 parts water, and putting it on your face. It’ll dry up the acne, but maybe also your skin so try using a topical moisturizer as well if you go with this method. Good Luck!
